Tammy Berendsen

Tammy has been a Certified Group Fitness Instructor for 20 years. Committed to a lifelong journey in health and wellness she has motivated and encouraged many others to believe in the importance of wellness. What is wellness? Tammy describes wellness as “Mind, Body, and Spirit balance with a conscious pursuit of living life to the fullest by taking control of your life through positive decisions that embrace well-being”

Pilates, Yoga and Bellyfit have taken Tammy to a level of inner peace, strength and balance like no other form of physical activity in the past. Her passion is to educate and inform new participants on lifestyle balance and the importance of taking care of our bodies.

Her certifications include Stott Pilates, YogaFit level 3, Bellyfit, CanFit Pro Personal Trainer, Nutrition and Wellness Specialist, Group Fitness Specialist, Mind Body Specialist.

As a mother of 3 Tammy knows how easy it is to put ourselves on the “back burner” and always take care of others first ….. the bottom line is if we do not take care of ourselves it soon becomes impossible to take care of other’s whether that is a child, spouse, aging parent, sibling or even best friend.
